Amy Jordan

President

Amy joined HCF in 2012 and has held the position of President since January 2019. She is responsible for the leadership of the foundation's activities and achievement of the goals and financial objectives set by the Board of Directors while ensuring the organization's activities are compliant and furtherance of its mission.

Amy has more than 30 years of extensive and diverse experience in marketing, sales, and operations for company sizes from start-up to global with significant hands-on experience in the development, implementation, and distribution of product. Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP), serves as a member of the Council on Foundations, a member of Leave a Legacy, affiliate of Northern Ohio Charitable Gift Planners, and a member of the Hudson Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Alliance Task Force, as well as, volunteer for local organizations. Amy is a Hudson resident for 23 years with her husband and two children and holds a BS in Marketing from Kent State University. 

Ron Hoover

Finance Director

Ron Hoover joined HCF in December 2020. He is a CPA and comes to the Foundation with over 20 years of accounting and financial experience gained as a financial executive in manufacturing and industry. Most recently he was the CFO of American Coupler Systems in Kent, Ohio, and prior the Controller for Aurora Plastics, LLC in Streetsboro, Ohio. Ron grew up in Hudson and has witnessed the tremendous growth of the community over the years. He is a graduate of Hudson High School and Kent State University with a BBA in Accounting. He is married with 2 adult children and lives in Stow, Ohio. 

Hannah Thompson

Grants and Marketing Coordinator

Hannah Thompson joined HCF in November 2022. She comes with over 14 years of experience working in non-profits, specifically in the areas of Communications, Graphic Design, and Administration.

After graduating from Grove City College in PA, Hannah completed a Communications Media online certification then promptly began her work in the non-profit industry.

She resides in Hudson with her husband and three sons, who all are thriving at Hudson City Schools.
